See some slippery Salmonids, soon to be skillfully splatted in Splatoon Raiders

(Phew, try saying that headline five times fast.)

(Wait, you were able to do it?? Talk about skills!)

This just in from our associates at the Squid Research Lab! That studious team of researchers love to, uh, research things. Today, they’ve set their sights on some odd-looking enemies that can be found in the Splatoon™ Raiders game (releasing exclusively for the Nintendo Switch™ 2 system on July 23).

Called Salmonids, these beastly baddies are up to no good—watch out if you ever encounter one! Here’s a closer look:

    (What a totally normal-looking crew…)

    Happy splatting, everyone!

    About Splatoon Raiders

Hunt for treasure and splat scores of enemies. In this single-player-focused adventure, play as a mechanic working with Deep Cut—a trio of swashbuckling musicians—and venture out into the mysterious Spirhalite Islands.

Customize your character, kit yourself out with mechanical gadgets and ink-splattering weapons, and take on waves of enemy Salmonids as you raid the islands for treasure.

You can pre-order the game at the link below.
