Behind every comic is a deeper story… one that goes beyond craft, technique, or industry know-how. Rylend Grant and David Avallone (hosts of the Telly Award-winning Writers Block podcast) bring together a panel of acclaimed creators and dig into the real reason they make comics: the personal drives, emotional compulsions, and life experiences that make storytelling not just a career, but a necessity. From catharsis to chaos, therapy to obsession, this candid conversation explores what fuels the creative fire and why, for some, making comics isn’t a choice at all.
