Batman: Knightfall, the first part of an animated movie trilogy, is now available on digital. An adaptation of the legendary “Knightfall” crossover comics storyline that saw the Dark Knight beaten and broken both physically and emotionally at the hands of the villain Bane, fans have been chomping at the bit for the release ever since Warner Bros. unveiled the first trailer. the film has garnered immense acclaim since it premiered at  the Annecy International Animation Film Festival last June.

During San Diego Comic-Con, we had the opportunity to sit down with the cast and creators of Batman: Knightfall including producers Rick Morales andJim Krieg as well as actor Michael Mando who voices Bane.

Mando is no stranger to portraying comic book villains, having recently starred as Scorpion in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. During our conversation, he discussed the legacy of Tom Hardy and his new interpretation of the Bane voice. The creative team behind the film gives an exclusive tease as to what’s to come for the Joker!
