After the internet decided Sarah Michelle Gellar‘s genes “didn’t even try” with her son — the literal twin of Freddie Prinze Jr.— she’s proving they overachieved with her look-alike daughter.
The Buffy star shared a series of photos from a mother-daughter outing on Sunday at the hometown showdown between the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers. In one snapshot, Gellar and 17-year-old Charlotte pose identically, sitting side-by-side with their hands in their laps, near the sidelines at SoFi Stadium.

But their physical similarities are striking too. Despite their contrasting hair colors, the blonde actress and her brunette daughter share the same smile. “My built in bestie,” Gellar captioned the photo.
She previously posted a social media tribute to Charlotte for her 17th birthday in September.
“You may have been the child that made me a mom, but now you are the person that brings out the best in me,” wrote Gellar alongside a sweet selfie of the two. Describing her daughter as “my biggest champion,” she added, “Thank you… for being you.”

Last week, the mom of two also shared a rare glimpse of Rocky, her 14-year-old son with Prinze Jr., that had fans seeing double.
“Race weekend with my boys,” Gellar captioned the Instagram carousel of photos, including one with Rocky as he prepared for a go-kart race with a new buzzcut that highlighted how much he favors his father.
“Sarah’s genes didn’t even try 😭🤣,” one person commented on Gellar’s post. “y’all shrank freddie ???? 😮,” asked a second. “He could have been Freddie Prinze Jr Jr,” quipped a third follower.
Gellar referenced her son’s thrilling hobby in an ode for his recent birthday, which is one day after Charlotte’s on Sept. 20. Rocky “came racing into our lives,” she recalled. “I should have known from your speedy delivery, the excitement you would bring. You have no idea how lucky I feel to watch you chase your dream.”
The actress, who got her start on commercials as a kid and was cast as Erica Kane’s teenage daughter on All My Children, took a break from show business not long after Rocky’s birth.

At the time, she was starring opposite Robin Williams on the CBS sitcom,The Crazy Ones, when the comedian suddenly died and “my world shifted,” Gellar told PEOPLE.
“It was this moment of, ‘Holy s—, things change in a moment.’ For the first time I wanted a break, and I had never wanted a break before. I was so defined by my work and my career that that was the propeller,” she explained. “And I’m so glad that I did, because it’s time I can never get back with my kids.”
