As revealed by Ziggurat Interactive and QUByte today, Sanitarium Enhanced is in development for Nintendo Switch. The game will release by the end of 2026.
Sanitarium Enhanced is an updated version of the 1998 psychological horror adventure game. It’ll feature full controller support for the first time, quality of life improvements, and never-before-seen bonus materials.

Sanitarium Enhanced is an updated edition of the renowned psychological horror adventure Sanitarium, originally developed by DreamForge Intertainment. First released in 1998 on PC and named Adventure Game of the Year, the timeless point-and-click horror now has full controller support for the first time, quality of life improvements, and never-before-seen bonus materials.
