Sarah Sorrell, the director of the charity, stated, “Games have an extraordinary ability to bring people together, but someone can still feel alone while playing. We want every player to know there is help and hope, and somewhere they can turn. Four Billion Gamers is an invitation to the industry to help us share that message.”
Leo Zullo, the founder and chairperson of Safe In Our World, emphasized, “Supporting the people who make games remains central to our work. Established in 2019, Safe In Our World has accumulated over $450,000 to fund mental health training initiatives. The organization has provided training for over 400 industry professionals in mental health awareness, extending its network to more than 200 individuals across 15 countries.
