Iconic duo. Razer and Pokémon. When you think of Pokémon, though, and the word cute, two names normally come to mind… Pikachu and Eevee. Razer have made this adorable and cuddly collaboration set with the fan favourites of the historically loved show and brought it to fans on Pokémon’s 30th anniversary year.

Razer Cobra Customisable Gaming Mouse
If you have the mousepad, it makes absolute sense that the official mouse would complement it well. Weighing in at an impressively light 58 grams, this mouse is a nice mouse for zippy reflexes. The arch is decent at a height of 38.5mm, perfect for most grip types, and was especially comfy using a claw grip.
Being wired and not wireless, I love a good braided cable for quality assurance, and Razer Speedflex cables make sure nothing is really tugging at your movement. Having a braided cable over plastic-coated really does make a difference, I have found over the years. It also comes with the standard PTFE slider feet underneath, and as usual the middle of the palm rest has the iconic logo backlit with the iconic Chroma lighting.
This time round though, it highlights a pastel pink shell, the theme in this collection, emblazoned with Pikachu on the right finger button and Eevee on the left. Speckled with some floating leaves and flowers, the underglow highlights the overall portrait well.
The optical sensor allows for up to 8500 DPI, more than the Razer Deathadder but considerably less than the Razer Viper. The Gen3 Optical Mouse Switches are clicky and bouncy, a strong pattern in Razer mouse products. They are certainly satisfying to the ear and the touch.

Pokemon x Razer Ornata V3 Tenkeyless Compact Low Profile Gaming Keyboard
This special pastel pink Pikachu and Eevee version of the Ornata is a Tenkeyless, one of my preferred sizes, as I hate and have no use for a number pad as it makes keyboards too long for a cleaner set-up. Freeing up space is vital, so this cute and smaller style is a double win. A slim, built side profile that is 363mm in length and 145mm wide, but weighing in at a hefty 645 grams, means it’s pocket-sized but sturdy enough to stick in place.
This is the first time in *ageeeesss* that I have rocked low-profile keys, and I forgot how therapeutic, albeit retro, they feel. Also in the matching pink, the matte-feeling, UV-coated keycaps are fade resistant, but that my friends, is something only time will tell when it comes to reviewing. They feel nice to the touch, though. Everything is backlit with 8 Razer RGB zones; sadly, they are not individually lit, but hey, it still glows in a beautifully mesmerising way.
The switches to match the keys are the Razer Mecha-membrane switches, clicky but soft and cushioned to the touch. A very satisfying typing experience. To go with the Pokémon x Razer theme, the space key has a series of Pikachu poses and Eevee and Pikachu dance around the arrow keys. A bit of a missed opportunity to put their faces on the media keys at the top that are round and perfect for some symbols.
The star of the show in this collection is actually the wrist rest. The magnetic wrist rest has the same design of sleeping Eevee and Pikachu as the mousepad and is the biggest showcase of Pokémon on this keyboard. It attaches easily to the keyboard and is just as easy to move to the side. Unfortunately, it isn’t padded or rubber but is solid plastic with anti-slip feet underneath.

Pokemon x Razer Kraken V4 X Wired Gaming Headset
Again, coming in pastel pink, included are a white Type-C to Type-A USB adapter and a retractable mic; the white and pink go hand in hand. The headband is thick, just the way I like it and retractable with a swivel mechanism so you can lie your headset flat.
A great innovation that a lot of headsets have adapted to now. Balancing out the look on each side, thankfully, are our cute favourite sleeping electric mouse and foxy-looking creature.
The ear cups are 62 x 42mm and also have thick memory foam cushions, with the inlay fabric having an easter egg print of Eevee on the left cup and Pikachu on the right, each with the RGB Razer logo blazen on the side.
The Razer Triforce 40mm drivers have a decent balance of trebles, mids and bass, and with 7.1 Surround Sound it feels like any scenario is possible. Whether it be bullets flying past in ‘Rainbow Six Siege’ or the whisper of winds in grass in ‘Expedition 33 ’, it’s clear as day. They are also pretty noise-cancelling too, which is an added bonus.
The Razer HyperClear Cardioid mic has a clear delivery of sound, meaning it picks up strong frontal directed sound and, like a heart shape, gets weaker as it arcs out from the centre. You can control this mic with a mute toggle and volume dial on the right earpiece.

Pokemon x Razer Gigantus V2 Soft Gaming Mouse Pad
Let’s start with the mousepad that combines so well with the Cobra Mouse, might I add. Coming in at a length of 275mm and a width of 360mm, this has 3mm of thickness that is comfortable to rest any wrist, elbow, hand, … foot… (Whatever you are into) on.
Decently sized in this set, it is bigger than the usual mousepad but not the largest in Razer’s range.
Made of polyester, the surface pastel pink microcloth fabric with a large cute sleeping Pikachu and Eevee design is silky smooth for an awesome glide ability for any mouse.
The rubber foam base also makes it stable and anti- slip across your own desk. It definitely looks washable too; an added bonus for accident-prone people like myself.

The headset, keyboard and mouse all can be customised with the Razer Synapse Software. One of my favourites, this software has been updated since the dawn of time and always
has been one of the most user-friendly interfaces I have dabbled in over ten years of reviewing. Here you can change things like DPI for your mouse, macros for your keyboard or audio balances for your headset. Razer has always prided themself on customisation, and it’s no different here as you change everything to your own gaming needs.
Thankfully, not an obnoxious colour pink; this beautiful cherry blossom pink is an endearing and kawaii addition to any fan of Pokémon’s setup, and while I’m not a huge fan of Eevee, it is the perfect partner really to be put with an icon like Pikachu. I only wish they had maybe accented another colour throughout to break up the amount of pink, though.
The collection coming in at a price of AUD$539 may seem a lot, but for 4 premium Razer products it is quite a decent and reasonable price range for products made with such care and quality. You can find them for individual sale too if you look hard enough. They are certainly built for the fans but also go hard enough for any gamer to enjoy too.
