Anticipation for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana reached new heights after first-look artwork inspired by the film’s officially released concept art went viral across social media. The striking visuals, featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Kunal Kapoor as Lord Indra and Rakul Preet Singh as Shurpanakha, have generated widespread discussion ahead of the film’s trailer launch scheduled for July 24.

The images are based on the concept art unveiled by the makers and digitally transformed by fans into realistic character portraits. While not official character posters, the artwork has been widely praised for offering a glimpse of the film’s ambitious visual style. Social media users applauded the intricate detailing, with many calling the designs “larger than life” and expressing excitement for the upcoming mythological epic.

The ensemble cast includes Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. The film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra in collaboration with Yash, is envisioned as a two-part cinematic adaptation of the ancient Indian epic, with a strong emphasis on world-class visual effects and large-scale storytelling.

The makers have strategically built anticipation through concept art reveals, promotional events and teaser campaigns leading up to the trailer release. The overwhelming online response to the fan-made visuals reflects growing audience interest and underscores the film’s status as one of the most awaited Indian releases. With expectations soaring, all eyes are now on the official trailer, which is expected to offer the first substantial look at the ambitious retelling of the timeless epic.
