Race with players in the Mario Kart World Online Challenge, October Knockout on 17 October!
The Online Challenge: October Knockout, an online in-game event for Mario Kart World on Nintendo Switch 2, is on the way!
Anyone can join from home, so jump in and put your skills to the test in this easy-to-enter online event!
What is the Online Challenge?
In the Online Challenge: October Knockout, compete against a variety of players online and battle for rating points, starting with a versus rating of 3,000 and rising or falling based on your performance.
This event will be played in Knockout Tour mode at 150cc.
Starting at 12:00 (SGT) on 17 October and running until 16:00 (SGT) on 17 October, Mario Kart World players can take part in this online event. During the four-hour event, you can compete in up to 16 races and battle for the highest rating by the end of the competition, so there’s no need to race for the entire four hours. Take breaks as needed and participate at your own pace throughout the event.
How to participate
To take part in the Online Challenge, you’ll need to have Mario Kart World, a Nintendo Switch 2 console connected to the internet, and any active Nintendo Switch Online membership. Then just follow these instructions:
・From the game’s main menu, choose Online Play
・Press the – Button to select Search for an event
・Enter the following four-digit Event ID: 6470
・Once confirmed, you’ll see the event details and can join the fun!
If you enter the Event ID before the event begins, you’ll be able to practise under the same rules. Use the time to hone your skills before the real thing starts!
What happens after the event?
Player data for the Top 100 players will be featured in a news article approximately two weeks after the event concludes.
Only player data associated with Nintendo Account registered to one of the Country/Region settings listed below will be eligible for ranking results.
