Texas (KCBD) – A major <a href="https://comicvibe.com/zee-entertainment-appoints-sangeeta-shetty-as-chief-compliance-officer/” title=”Zee Entertainment appoints Sangeeta Shetty as Chief Compliance Officer”>entertainment expansion is on the way to the South Plains Mall
The South Plains Mall and Premiere Cinemas + IMAX announced plans for Premiere PLUS, a new 45,000 square-foot family entertainment center.
The locally owned and operated expansion will connect directly to the existing 16-screen theater, making it one of the region’s largest entertainment centers.
The expansion will feature 16 bowling lanes, multiple bumper-car arenas, more than 100 arcades games, a 7-D cinema experience, a large play area for kids, party and event rooms, new cafes and a redemption center with prizes and rewards.
“Premiere PLUS is an exciting investment in Lubbock and in the future of family entertainment in West Texas,” said Gary Moore, CEO of Premiere Cinemas. “Our goal is to create a destination where families and friends can gather for movies, bowling, games, dining and special events, all under one roof.”
Premiere Cinemas first opened its Lubbock location in 2012, later upgrading auditoriums with luxury recliners and laser projection.
Construction is currently underway, with doors projected to open in summer 2027.
