Creating your ideal Pokémon utopia in Pokémon Pokopia is easier and more fun than ever thanks to the game’s recent version 2.0.0 patch, which introduced a wide range of quality-of-life improvements. The improvements in this free update allow you to more efficiently build your world, better control your inventory, keep your Pokémon friends happier, and more. Here are some of the details you can look forward to.
Interacting with Pokémon
- When talking to Professor Tangrowth, lost relics can now be appraised in batches of up to 10 at a time.
- Smearguru, Vespiquen, Gimmighoul, and Gholdengo can now process multiple transactions in a single conversation.
- Smearguru can now learn to paint patterns from reference photos you have taken of items.
- Pokémon that become sad because furniture is removed now notice more quickly when the same furniture is replaced.
- Pokémon will return to their habitat if it is destroyed and then rebuilt within a certain area.
Inventory Management
- A new type of storage chest called a portal pod has been added. This item allows you to access stored items from multiple locations. Anything you store in one portal pod can be taken out from any other portal pod—even across different areas.
- You can now move multiple items in bulk between storage boxes and your bag.
- Items placed in waste containers, such as garbage bins, can now disappear, making it easier to dispose of unwanted items.
Creating Your World
- You can now suck up items, access your bag, and consume food while transformed as Graveler.
- When Ditto spits out stored water, adjusted water levels now automatically match nearby water levels.
- You can now fine-tune the depth when placing windows, doors, and similar items, giving you greater control over your builds.
- When using the Dowsing Machine to search for treasures in the Sparkling Skylands, treasures no longer appear in locations where breaking terrain would cause them to fall.
Other Adjustments
- The frequency of in-game event reminders has been reduced and will now only occur when the number of days remaining in the event reaches specific periods. There are now added motion-sickness reduction settings for the camera.
Please note that the version 2.0.0 update does not require you to have purchased the three-part Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass paid DLC. Whether you’re just starting your Pokémon Pokopia adventure or stepping back into your world, these new improvements will enhance your experience.
