In case you missed it, <a href="https://www.playstationlifestyle.net/tag/sony-interactive-entertainment/” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>Sony has already confirmed a PS PlusExtra and Premium October2026 game for the PS5. Included in September’s PlayStation State of Play was the announcement that Pigeons at Play’s hit co-op game Mycopunk will make its console debut on PS Plus and the PS Store simultaneously.
When will the PS Plus October 2026 game Mycopunk join the catalog?
Mycopunk will be a PS Plus Extra and Premium day-one game, joining the catalog on Tuesday, October 20. Although Sony staggers catalog games by region, we expect Mycopunk to be available in all regions on the same date due to its day-one status.
As for what Mycopunk is all about, it’s a co-op first-person shooter. The game is already a hit on PC.
“A ragtag squad of robot rejects is hired by the SAXON corporation and given one last shot at profitable glory (and avoiding the scrap heap),” an official overview reads. “They are the New Atlas Hazard Crew, a ramshackle squad of exterminators sent to uncover the mysteries behind a planet-wide fungal catastrophe. Embark on a series of dangerous planet-side missions to drive back the mycological menace.”
The full PS Plus Extra and Premium October 2026 lineup and release schedule will be announced by Wednesday, October 14.
