A big appeal for video games is the sense of immersion, and that is especially the case when it comes to racing games and simulators. When you settle in for a racing sim, you want to feel like you’re the one in the driver’s seat, and that feeling is a little hard to achieve when you steering wheel is just an analog stick under your left thumb. The Logitech G29/G290 racing wheel is a huge step up from just using your console’s standard controller. This kit comes with both the wheel and pedals, and right now, you can grab it for just 23% off. Normally, you’d find the racing wheel and pedal kit selling for $300, but the Amazon discount ends up taking the price down to just $230. That works out to a savings of $70 for a limited time.

There are two different versions of this Logitech racing wheel and pedals kit, and you should pick which one based on the console you plan on racing with. The Logitech G29 is designed for use with PS5 and PS4, while the Logitech G290 is designed for use with Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Both are compatible with PC and Mac, so if you’re racing sims are on your computer, the only decision you need to make is if you prefer Xbox or PlayStation button labels and branding.

    Premium Control on the Speedway

The Logitech G29 and G290 racing wheel is way more that a piece of plastic that you’d find in some children’s toy that can twist and turn. This racing wheel is made with premium materials and is covered in a high-quality hand-stitched leather casing. This provide you with real-world feel and better grip while on the virtual raceways. The wheel also uses Drive Force feedback which is able to simulate with great detail what it feels like to drive a vehicle at high speeds.

The racing wheel is able to complete a full 900-degree rotation, locking in place at either end of the full two and half turns of the wheel. You can complete real hand-over-hand maneuvering which is far more immersive than tilting your thumb to the left or the right.

The pedals are equally impressive. The base is made to be sturdy so it won’t slide around the floor while in use. The brake is nonlinear with a pressure-sensitive response so you can brake accurately. They’re also constructed using real automotive grade steel.
