Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass paid DLC: Keep the cozy life going with a brand-new underwater area!

Ready to dive into more content for the Pokémon™ Pokopia game? Purchasing the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass DLC* will give you access to three content drops when they release. And wouldn’t you know, the first one is making a splash…today!

    Discover Bubbly Basin

Welcome to Bubbly Basin, an underwater town with new adventures to go on, additional furniture items and outfits to enjoy, and more Pokémonto meet.

While you’re taking in the watery sights and sounds, be sure to sample Bubbly Basin’s delicious watermelons, visit a new Dream Island with the Starmie doll, make smoothies, and experiment with the newly added buoyant blocks (these blocks can be used to make buildings float at different levels underwater). Oh, and there’s the small matter of a mysterious hole in the sea floor—you brave explorers out there may want to check it out!

    How to access the content

To visit Bubbly Basin, you’ll need Pokémon Pokopia and the Pokémon PokopiaExpansion Pass DLC.

If you’re all set there, your next stop is Bubbly Basin’s underwater gate. You’ll need to first:

    1. Learn the Dive move (a new move that’s available to all players with the free 2.0.0 update).

    2. Complete the important request “Raise the environment level!” in Bleak Beach.

    3. Seek out Popplio in Bleak Beach.

Oh, and if you need help raising environment levels, check out the News article we did a couple weeks ago called, “Here’s how to prepare for the new Pokémon Pokopia content, coming Aug. 5” It should help!

    Purchase bonuses

One last thing: There are also a couple bonuses for buying the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass DLC!

Ditto print blocks and wallpaper recipe

This in-game recipe is sure to give some Ditto-inspired flair to your creations. The recipe can be obtained by selecting Downloadable Content in the main menu.

    Rare Pokémetal ingots

You’ll also get a code by email for 30 rare Pokémetal ingots, which you can receive by choosing Get with Code/Password in the Mystery Gifts** feature of your game. Redeem the code by Aug. 31, 2027, then use it to claim your in-game reward on or before Sept. 30, 2027.

Phew, that should be it for now! Of course, Bubbly Basin is just Part 1 of the DLC—stay tuned for more info on Parts 2 and 3. We hope you enjoy continuing your adventures in Pokémon Pokopia.

To learn more about the game or make a purchase, please visit the link below.

*Full version of game required to use DLC. Sold separately, unless otherwise noted. Individual DLC parts cannot be purchased separately.

**The Mystery Gifts option can be found within the Get Items menu option at the Pokémon Center in the Pokémon Pokopia game. You will need to connect your Nintendo Switch 2 system to the internet to claim this bonus. The user profile on your system will need to be linked to a Nintendo Account in order to connect to the internet. (This does not require a Nintendo Switch Online membership.) It takes approximately 30 minutes of play time before you can access the Mystery Gifts feature. Item can only be redeemed once.
