So what? Pink doesn’t need much to be a rockstar.
The Grammy winner proved just that when a makeup-free photo of her walking around New York City went viral. In the Oct. 26 candid, Pink (real name Alecia Moore) donned a baggy, purple sweat set and a patterned headscarf as she carried her dog in a beige sling across her chest.
“What is everyone talking about? I look HOT, and you can tell that’s what I was going for, too,” she wrote in an Oct. 27 Instagram Story. “I woke up and said ‘I am going to be serving LOOKS today.’ And I did that.”
The 47-year-old added in a separate smiling selfie, which showed her in a tank top and thick-rimmed glasses, “I look even better today.”
Indeed, Pink has never let others make her feel less than f–kin’ perfect. As she told her and husband Carey Hart‘s daughterWillow while accepting the Video Vanguard Award at the 2017 MTV VMAs, “Baby girl, we don’t change, we take the gravel and the shell and we make a pearl.”

“I said to her, ‘Do you see me growing my hair?’ She said, ‘No, mama,'” Pink shared at the time. “I said, ‘Do you see me changing my body?’ ‘No, mama.’ ‘Do you see me changing the way I present myself to the world?’ ‘No, mama.’ ‘Do you see me selling out arenas all over the world?’ ‘Yes, Mama.'”
She added, “We help other people to change so that they can see more kinds of beauty.”
And over the years, Pink has continued to embrace her aging beauty.
“Dear Me, you’re getting older. I see lines. Especially when you smile,” she wrote on X in 2020. “Every once in a while you consider altering your face, and then you watch a show where you want to see what the person is feeling… and their face doesn’t move. I’m cannot get behind it. I just can’t.”
Besides, the “Raise Your Glass” singer quipped that she wants Willow, now 15, and son Jameson, 9, “to know what I look like when I’m angry.”
“I’ve decided that my talent and my individuality is far more important than my face,” Pink added. “So get on board cause I am about to AGE THE OL FASHIONED WAY.”

“It’s all about self-acceptance,” she told i-D magazine on September 2023. “This is the chapter of my life I’m trying to embrace now. Since I really walk out the door as me, I feel relief—a weight off my shoulders.”As she put it, “I’m dressing for me now, not for everybody else.”
“Perioral dermatitis is a skin disorder resembling acne or rosacea,” she explained in the text of her video. “In most cases, it involves tiny red bumps that form on the lower half of the face, in the folds of the nose and around the mouth.”
“She’s on a mission to encourage everyone to feel strong and love themselves *as they are*… and I’m so honored to help spread that message,” Jessica continued. “Take a second to show the real you.”
