Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Anime-Fest featured voice actors, a cosplay contest and collectables for all anime lovers on Saturday afternoon!
On Saturday, Oct. 10, anime fans from across Central Virginia attended the Richmond Anime-Fest at the Four Points Airport Hotel from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to celebrate Japanese animation, manga, cosplay and more!
The event featured panels, workshops, vendors, artists and special voice actors, including Christine Auten and Cynthia Cranz.
“Well, it brings everybody together, young, old, doesn’t matter. Everybody fits in. Everybody loves to dress up in their favorite anime costumes and their favorite anime characters,” said David Hess, the show manager for the Richmond Anime-Fest. “And they just love to get together, and it brings everyone together for the same cause. It’s just an awesome event.”
