One of the rivalriesthat has sparked the most debate in the mangaand animeindustry over the past few decades features two of the greatest characters from ‘One Piece’ as its protagonists. Roronoa Zoro and Vinsmoke Sanji are part of one of the series’ most iconic dynamics: a constant clash of egos between two members of the same crew who, despite the insults and childish squabbles, have deep respect for one another. Who is stronger? It’s an ongoing debate, though many are certain who the winner is. However, Chapter 1197 has cleared up any doubts about each character’s role alongside Monkey D. Luffy.
The story that finally confirms each character’s standing among the Straw Hat Pirates
Between Zoro and Sanji, the former has always been considered the stronger of the two. He has proven this with each increase in his bounty and by possessing Conqueror’s Haki. The latest chapters of the Elbaph arc are serving to firmly establish two of the greatest powers in the “One Piece” universe: Zoro has managed to master this technique, while Sanji has discovered what he is capable of.
The most beloved chef in manga and anime has had to confront his past and learn to value himself. He has now also mastered Conqueror’s Haki, a key element in facing the Knights of the Gods and tackling the threats that still lie ahead in the series. During the chapter, Sanji confirms that Zoro is Luffy’s sword and that he can be his shield.
