Once a Upon a Katamari details Nintendo Switch 2 frame rate, resolution

Once Upon a Katamari is releasing soon on Nintendo Switch 2, and thanks to Bandai Namco, we have details about frame rate and resolution. Information was posted on the official Japanese website.
It was nearly a year ago that the game first hit the original Nintendo Switch. On the new console, however, things are seeing an upgrade.
For resolution, Once Upon a Katamari is up to 4K when docked and up to 1080p in handheld mode. This is the maximum output possible on the console.
Looking at frame rate, Once Upon a Katamari can go up to 60 FPS. Bandai Namco doesn’t clarify what would make the action lower than that, but this is the target.
Ultimately, this is a big upgrade compared to the Nintendo Switch release and makes things on par with other platforms. On Nintendo’s older console, resolution was limited to 1080p when docked and 720p in portable mode with frame rate limited to 30 FPS.
We have a few other tidbits as well. First, online multiplayer is only available between Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and there are no cross-platform saves. There’s also not support for HDR. Finally, DLC purchased for the Nintendo Switch version cannot be used on Switch 2.
