NMIXX (NMIXX) received the honor of winning the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Minister’s Commendation at the 2026 Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards.
NMIXX was recognized for its contributions to the development of popular culture and the arts and received the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Minister’s Commendation at the 17th Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards held at the National Theater of Korea’s Haeoreum Theater in Seoul on the 29th. Established in 2010, this awards ceremony was created to commend the efforts of popular culture and arts figures and to instill pride.
Currently unable to attend the awards ceremony due to activities for the new release Strange Muse (Strange Muse), NMIXX expressed through their agency, “We are sincerely grateful to receive this meaningful award. Being called alongside so many who illuminate popular culture makes it even more meaningful. We once again thank ENSWEr (fan club name: NSWER) and the public for their unwavering love, and we will do our best to repay you with good music and performances,” conveying an emotional response.
Since their 2022 debut single AD MARE (AD MARE), NMIXX, loved for their distinctive music and high-quality live performances, released their mini album No. 6 Strange Muse (Strange Muse) and the title track Birthday Wish (Birthday Wish) on the 19th and are concentrating on comeback activities.
Riding this momentum, they will culminate their first world tour, EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER (Episode 1: Zero Frontier), at Incheon Inspire Arena from Nov. 27 to 29. Following the opening concert of last November’s tour, the three finale shows this time also sold out, promising a splendid finish.
