Koei Tecmo has plans to continue supporting Nintendo Switch 2 with ports, the company shared today.
That news was delivered as part of its latest financial results. In its report, Koei Tecmo says it will be diversifying its revenue opportunities throughout the fiscal year. The publisher will focus on major games while also incorporating mid-range titles, remasters, and Nintendo Switch 2 ports.
Koei Tecmo has been a strong Nintendo Switch 2 supporter thus far. At launch, we saw Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening Complete Edition. The company also brought over Wild Hearts S, Dynasty Warriors: Origins, and has a port of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty planned for September.
Koei Tecmo is also launching its new releases for Nintendo Switch 2 alongside other platforms. Later this week, we’ll be getting Blue Reflection Quartet. Wo Long 2 will be arriving in 2027. Fatal Frame 2 Remake is on the system as well.
This is us speculating, but perhaps the Nioh series could find its way to Nintendo Switch 2. The franchise didn’t previously appear on a Nintendo platform, so that could be an opportunity.
Is there any specific game you’d like to see Koei Tecmo port to the console? Let us know in the comments.
