Nintendo Switch 2

Minecraft for Nintendo Switch 2 is available now.
It features Vibrant Visuals*, the biggest graphics update in Minecraft history, and also includes the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack, exclusive to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
*Vibrant Visuals is not available in some gameplay, including split-screen and when using certain Minecraft Marketplace worlds and content.
First, take a look at this video.
What is Minecraft?
Minecraft is an open-world sandbox game where you can freely explore vast worlds made of blocks and discover your own way to play. Gather resources like wood, stone, and iron to craft tools and items, build houses and castles, explore underground caves and ruins, and much more.
There is no set story. Where you go and what you build is up to you. Build a small house to live in, create a huge city, or head out on an adventure to dangerous places. Let your imagination run free and create a world that is all your own.
When the sun goes down, monsters may appear and attack. Will you hole up in the base you built and fight, or keep running until morning? How you act is up to you.
Minecraft also supports online play, so you can explore its vast worlds together with family and friends.
The world of Minecraft, more vibrant than ever on Nintendo Switch 2
Minecraft for Nintendo Switch 2 keeps the gameplay you know and adds support for Vibrant Visuals, a new way of rendering the game. Directional lighting, volumetric fog, shadows that shift over time, reflections on water, and more let you explore the blocky world with more beautiful graphics than ever before.
Includes the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack
Minecraft for Nintendo Switch 2 also includes the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack**, featuring 15 music tracks and 40 player skins inspired by the Super Mario series.
**Additional content can be obtained from Minecraft Marketplace.
The pack also supports Vibrant Visuals, so you can explore familiar locations inspired by the world of Mario in even more vibrant graphics.
