The 2026-2027 broadcast season may just be getting underway, with most shows only with a couple episodes out, but we already know the dates — or at least the month — for a few of the series returning or debuting in the midseason, early next year.
The shows joining ABC’s fall shows in 2027 — except for R.J. Decker, airing its second season finale on Tuesday, October 27 — are: the returning The Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise, High Potential, Shifting Gears, The Rookie, and Will Trent. Plus, there are new spinoffs The Rookie: North starring Jay Ellis and an untitled Grey’s Anatomy one set in Texas. ABC is the only network to date any midseason shows, with The Rookie and North‘s premieres announced at New York Comic Con in October.
New additions to the lineup for CBS in the new year include the returns of Ghosts, Matlock, and NCIS: Sydney and the debut of Einstein (starring Matthew Gray Gubler and Melissa Fumero).
Fox is debuting Baywatch (which has a premiere month) and The Interrogator and bringing back American Dad!,Bob’s Burgers,Family Guy,Krapopolis, Memory of A Killer, and Murder in a Small Town on the scripted side in 2027. For unscripted, there’s Crime Scene Kitchen, Don’t Forget The Lyrics,Extracted, Fear Factor: House of Fear,Gordon Ramsay‘s Secret Service,LEGO Masters,Marriage Market,Next Level Baker,Next Level Chef, and The Masked Singer.
And NBC has joining its primetime lineup beginning in 2027 the reboot of The Rockford Files (with David Boreanaz) and Sunset P.I. (starring Jake Johnson).

Below, we’re gathering all the midseason premiere dates for both new and returning shows across ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC. Keep checking back as more are announced.
