MCU’s Major New Disney+ Series Is Officially Releasing Early—and It’s the Final Chapter Before ‘Avengers: Doomsday’

Since WandaVision and Agatha All Along became acclaimed hit series for Disney+, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s fans have been wanting more. Thankfully, it has just been revealed that the wait for the sequel series to those two shows, VisionQuest, is nearly over. That is because the show that will be the final MCU chapter before Avengers: Doomsday is unexpectedly being released early.

Marvel Just Changed the ‘VisionQuest’ Disney+ Release Schedule

As a ScreenRant article notes, new episodes of VisionQuest were originally scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on every Wednesday until all eight episodes had been released. That schedule was supposed to start on October 14 and end on November 11. That is why the new October 12 post on the Marvel Studios X account detailing the show’s release schedule took everyone by surprise.

The X post notes that VisionQuest’s first two episodes, “No Strings” and “Theseus,” will premiere one day early, on October 13. Furthermore, it reveals that the show’s entire schedule has been shifted one day earlier to Tuesdays, with the finale premiering on November 10.

    The Full VisionQuest Release Schedule:
    • “No Strings” and “Theseus” — October 13

    • “Reboot” and “Malware” — October 20

    • “Firewall” and “Deadlock” — October 27

VisionQuest is a highly anticipated series for three reasons. First, many Marvel fans are deeply invested in the story that has been built across the following movies and shows:

    Everything Leading to VisionQuest:

    • Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

There is also immense interest in whether Elizabeth Olsen will be part of VisionQuest as Wanda Maximoff after the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Finally, the upcoming series is the final major MCU project to premiere before Avengers: Doomsday, and many fans suspect it will tie in to the crossover event movie in some way.
