The collectibles world is undergoing a seismic shift right now. The license for DC figures is shifting from McFarlane Toys to Mattel. And while Mattel has already released a number of new kid-focused figures under the “DC Core” branding, older collectors are eagerly awaiting news about the “DC Premium” line. Just ahead of its official debut at NYCC, IGN can exclusively reveal the very first DC Premium figure. And yes, it’s Batman.

Head down to the slideshow gallery below for an exclusive first look at the DC Premium Batman: Hush Rooftop Bat-Signal Diorama Set:

It’s hardly surprising that Mattel would choose Batman of all characters to kick off the DC Premium line. This particular figure is based on the 2002-03 storyline Batman: Hush and the artwork of Jim Lee. It features no fewer than 34 points of articulation, so you should be able to get some very dynamic superhero poses out of it.

This isn’t a standard action figure release, however. It’s a larger bundle that includes a rooftop diorama base and a light-up Bat-Signal accessory. The figure also includes a posable, wired fabric cape and interchangeable hands.

“We are incredibly proud to bring DC back to Mattel, marking an exciting new chapter with the debut of Batman: Hush,” said Nick Karamanos, General Manager & Head of <a href="https://comicvibe.com/is-flutter-entertainment-flut-cheap-as-leadership-changes-test-its-44-undervalued-view/” title=”Is Flutter Entertainment (FLUT) Cheap As Leadership Changes Test Its 44% Undervalued View?”>Entertainment Partnerships, Action Figures and Preschool Entertainment at Mattel, in a statement. “We know there has been tremendous anticipation for this launch, and we’re excited to deliver what fans expect from a Mattel action figure — the very best.”

The DC Premium Batman: Hush Rooftop Bat-Signal Diorama Set is priced at $100 and is available to order now on the Mattel Creations website.

This new set will be on display at DC’s NYCC booth (#4365) this week. Mattel is also teasing that future DC Premium figures will be revealed during a livestream event happening on January 1, 2027.
