La. (WAFB/Gray News) – A man is accused of shooting his neighbor eight times while returning a PlayStation he stole from the neighbor, according to police
Tyzerrian Castle, 24, was arrested Thursday for the August 2025 shooting
During the meetup to return the stolen PlayStation, a different man carrying a rifle approached the neighbor’s car, according to the arrest report
Castle was sitting in the passenger seat when the neighbor stepped on the gas to drive away
The neighbor told detectives that Castle pointed a gun at him. The two allegedly tussled for the gun. Castle then crawled out the driver’s side door and started shooting at his neighbor, hitting him in his side, leg and stomach
The neighbor drove to a family member’s home, where the family member called 911
Detectives interviewed the victim and the family, and the neighbor was able to pick Castle out of a lineup
Castle faces several felony charges including attempted murder, illegal use of a weapon and aggravated criminal damage to property
Police have not released any information about the man who allegedly approached the victim’s vehicle with a rifle
