Justin Herbert officially made Madison Beer his.
The “Make You Mine” hitmaker and Los Angeles Chargers quarterback announced their engagement on July 28 after nearly one year of dating.
In one photo shared to the pair’s Instagram accounts, Herbert—wearing a white T-shirt, black jeans and sneakers—got down on one knee while holding a jewelry box in his hands as Beer crouched down in front of him with excitement.
In another pic, the NFL star lifted the “Bittersweet” singer—donning a lacy skirt and white cardigan—over his shoulder as she flashed her new sparkler for the camera.
As Beer, 27, captioned the joint Instagram post, “meet my fiancé.”
Following the exciting news, the couple’s fellow celeb pals congratulated them on becoming teammates for life.
“Ohhhhhh so happy for you I love you,” Gracie Abrams commented, while Markell Washington chimed in, “OMG OMG MADISON THE ROYAL WEDDING IS APPROACHING, I’m so happy for you you deserve this!!!”
The couple’s engagement comes after they sparked dating rumors last August, when Herbert, 28, was seen hanging out with Beer on the set of a music video she was filming in Los Angeles.

Nearly two months later, the duo confirmed that the rumors were true as they shared a kiss on the sidelines during the Chargers’ Oct. 5 face-off against the Washington Commanders.
And while the game saw Herbert’s team lose 27-10, the athlete proved he was winning in the love department by planting a sweet kiss on Beer just before kickoff.
In the clip shared to X, Herbert walked up to Madison in his full gear, greeting her with a hug and a kiss before politely shaking her friends’ hands.
Afterward, Herbert gave Beer one last smooch before hustling back to his teammates on the field.
The sweet moment marked a rare PDA-filled moment for the couple, who have largely kept the ins and outs of their romance under wraps.
But even with their dedication to keeping the connection private, sometimes it slips that they’re no better than two teenagers in love.
After all, Herbert gave fans the gift of a lifetime when he shared a peek inside his and Beer’s relationship in honor of her 27th birthday.
In the picture shared to his Instagram Stories March 5, Herbert and the “Good in Goodbye” singer gazed into each other’s eyes while smiling. As he wrote under the snap, “I am the luckiest guy alive.”
And Beer is a lovergirl in her own right thanks to her rock-solid connection with the football player, who she shared on a December 2025 episode of Call Her Daddy makes her feel “supported.”
“I feel taken care of in a way that I can break down and like I have someone to lean on,” Beer said. “And I think it’s important.”
