Lionel Richie thanked his fans for their support after suffering a health scare on stage which forced him to cancel a string of shows
Richie, 77, smiled widely and danced on stage in a carousel of concert images posted on Instagram over the weekend

The United Center announced at the time that Richie’s scheduled concerts in Chicago, and Columbus, Ohio, would no longer take place due to doctors’ orders

“Under advisement by doctors to rest and return to full health, Lionel Richie has postponed his next two shows,” the Instagram post read in part. “Lionel is heartbroken to postpone these two shows and cannot wait to be back performing for his fans.”
A St. Paul Fire Department public information officer confirmed to Fox News Digital last month that an individual was “transported from Grand Casino Arena late on June 24, 2026, to a local hospital by Saint Paul Fire-EMS.”
