The countdown is on until the next season of Fortnite, and Epic Games is not slowing down with hints on the upcoming content, with a huge Minecraft collab the latest to be tease.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 is set to kick off on August 20, with a Story Event scheduled for this weekend, and it’s already been confirmed that Sonic the Hedgehog will be among the headliners.
Other teasers have also been spotted, including for Pac-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Tetris, and Epic Games has now provided another hint of what’s on the horizon.
Fortnite Teases Minecraft Collab
A string of teasers and confirmations were revealed by Epic Games on Monday, including the Sonic trailer and major hints to a Persona crossover, and fans have now begun to dissect another significant clue.
As covered by ShiinaBR, the ‘SurviveTheNight’ teaser code worked in Fortnite’s Season 4 bot but has now been disabled, and this hints towards a long-awaited Minecraft collab.
While some speculated it could be another Five Night’s at Freddy’s collab, that is no longer the prevaling thought, and, instead, the general consensus is that Epic Games is hinting towards Minecraft.
Adding further fuel to the fire is the fact that Survive The Night is a piece of text that is present in the X bio of the official Minecraft account, which could be the biggest hint of them all.
Minecraft would also make a lot more sense to feature in the upcoming season alongside the likes of Sonic, Pac-Man, and others, rather than Five Night’s at Freddy’s, which would be better suited to a Fortnitemares collab.
More hints and full confirmation of the collabs should be right around the corner, with the upcoming Chapter 7 Season 4 Story Event likely to reveal a host of details.
