Tenn. (WVLT) – A popular Knoxville comic book and toy store is shuttering its doors after 10 years in business
Tall Man Toys & Comics, located in West Town Mall, announced on social media it is closing “after 10 unforgettable years.”
“Like many small businesses, we’ve watched the world around us change,” the store said in a post. “Rising costs, shifting shopping habits, [tariffs] paid we can’t get refunded, and tighter household budgets have made it increasingly difficult to continue.”
For the rest of the month, the store said everything is 50% off. There will also be a final fundraiser before it closes.
“To everyone who walked through our doors, attended our 150+ celebrity events, countless small business collaborations, shared a laugh, a BUNCH of stories, or simply made Tall Man Toys part of your life—THANK YOU,” the post continued.
The store is located next to Dillard’s inside West Town Mall.
