Kim Kardashian and Kanye “Ye” West are keeping up with their kids’ passions.
The SKIMS founder and Grammy winner each stepped out to cheer on their daughter North West as she performed at her first headline concert at The Vic Theatre in Chicago, Illinois, Sept. 5.
In footage shared online, Kim and Kanye—who also share kids Saint West, 10, Chicago West, 8, and Psalm West, 7—could be seen arriving separately to the event, with The Kardashiansstar donning a slicked back ponytail as she took her seat in the VIP section.
Meanwhile, Kanye arrived later donning a brown bomber jacket and sunglasses as he filmed his daughter onstage.
Kim, for her part, shared her own memories from the unforgettable evening. In one video shared to Instagram Stories, Kim captured the screaming crowd waving at her from her perched section.
In another post, Kim shared a snap of a fan holding up a sign that read, “We’re from the North West side.”
North, 13, released her debut EP N0rth4evr in May, telling Dazed in August that she finds performing the material “fun, relieving and exciting.”

Well, North shared the worst advice she’s ever received is “to start my career later.”
“It’s like, nah, this is my hobby,” she explained, “this is what I like to do, this is what I wanna do with my life.”
North’s concert marked a rare joint sighting for her parents, who divorced in 2022 after nearly eight years of marriage.

Previously, Kim shared insight into the breakup’s affect on her family.
“When you have kids, it’s definitely harder to leave than it is to stay,” Kim said on an October 2025 episode of Call HerDaddy. “And it changes everyone’s life forever.”
Though Kim and Kanye ended up going their separate ways, the reality star has made peace with the decision, noting, “an over-a-decade relationship with four beautiful children is not a failure.”
Though Kim shared it’s “not easy” coparenting with Kanye, she’s dedicated to making it work for the sake of their little ones.
“I had the best dad,” she told Angie Martinez on her IRL Podcast in 2022. “I have the best memories and the greatest experience. And that’s all I want for my kids. As long as they can have that, that’s what I would want for them.”
