Vyjayanthi Movies marks the moment as Kalki 2898 AD receives two National Awards, including the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, together with an acknowledgement for Best Special Effects.
Helmed by director Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, Kalki 2898 AD grew out of a bold ambition to build a cinematic universe that merged mythology, science fiction, and grand-scale storytelling. The film’s National Award recognition honours the shared creativity and craftsmanship that were poured into making that vision a reality.
Producers at Vyjayanthi Movies expressed their gratitude for the recognition and said, “Winning the National Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment for Kalki 2898 AD is an immensely proud moment for all of us at Vyjayanthi Movies. The two National Awards mark yet another milestone in the journey of Kalki 2898 AD, a film that assembled a stellar cast headed by Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone, together with a vast creative and technical crew.
