San Diego Comic Con (The Hollywood Times) 07/31/2026 – “Towers in a fighting game is a very standard mode. If you’ve played other fighting games in the past, you might be familiar with the format. All the defenders are there on the ladder, and then you pick your attackers, and you line them up, and then you go through them one by one. They’re racing against the clock, and that’s the primary threat of the game.” Kabam Community Manager Michael Recchia
Fans who attended San Diego Comic-Con last weekend were also invited to the Marvel x Moonrock Gaming Lounge (at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina, San Diego Ballroom). The gaming lounge included Marvel Contest of Champions game stations with playable demos for the game’s new Towers mode along with daily player competitions (with on-stage final competitions), giveaways (exclusive pins and prize wheel), and more!
It was a lot of fun spinning the wheel and getting some cool pins and a chance to play the newest games they were featuring. I had the pleasure of meeting Kabam Community Manager Michael Recchia (https://www.instagram.com/karatemike415/) who I interviewed. Here are some photos I took:

It was fun learning about the new game and getting a demonstration from Michael and meeting his team members.
Enjoy my interview with Michael:
A brand-new “Friendly Neighborhood Battlerealm” trailer was recently released that celebrates the summer of Spider-Man and favorite wall-crawlers from across the multiverse that are in game as they help out their pals and frustrate their foes.
