The new trailer gives us a peek at what director Jake Kasdan has in store and shows how the action will really be stepping out of Jumanji’s world.
The adventure is far from over as the makers of Jumanji: Open World have unveiled a new trailer ahead of the film’s Christmas release. Promising another action-packed ride, the upcoming instalment brings the familiar faces back for what is being billed as the final chapter of the popular franchise.
Starring Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan, the film is set to arrive in cinemas on December 25, 2026, giving fans a fresh dose of adventure over the festive season.
The new trailer gives us a peek at what director Jake Kasdan has in store and shows how the action will really be stepping out of Jumanji’s world. The game is no longer just a game, and creatures from the animal kingdom have escaped.
Spencer Gilpin (Alex Wolff) and his friends face a new challenge in the fourth and final movie as the world of Jumanji is unleashed. The characters from the game are brought into the real world with their unique personalities, accents and crazy antics.
The trailer has more footage of the returning cast and shows the bizarre situation they’re now in. As the line between the game and reality begins to become blurred, we’re given a new adventure full of action and comedy.
Directed by Jake Kasdan, Jumanji: Open World also stars Nick Jonas alongside Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan.
The upcoming film carries forward a franchise that began with the 1995 classic starring Robin Williams. The series was later reimagined with Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle in 2017, followed by Jumanji: The Next Level in 2019. Both films performed strongly at the global box office, helping establish Jumanji as one of the most recognisable adventure franchises.
Sony Pictures Entertainment India will release Jumanji: Open World in cinemas across India in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on December 25, 2026.
