Actor Jr NTR, who underwent shoulder surgeryon Wednesday, August 12, has given fans a reassuring health update after the procedure. The actor took to social media to update fans about his health amid growing concerns. The actor recently had an arthroscopic procedure at KIMS Hospitals in Secunderabad. After the successful completion of the surgery, he thanked fans for their love and prayers.

Jr NTR took to his X account and said he was deeply touched by the support he had received. The actor also confirmed that the surgery went well, before thanking the doctors at KIMS for taking care of him.
He wrote, “I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and prayers from all of you. The surgery was successful and I’m doing well. My heartfelt gratitude to the amazing team of doctors at KIMS. To my friends, family, and fans; your support gives me strength every single day. See you soon!”
Fans soon began reacting to his update, with many wishing him a quick recovery.
About Jr NTR’s injury
Jr NTR reportedly injured his shoulderon July 27, 2026, following which the doctors had advised him to take complete rest for around six to eight weeks.
On July 27, Jr NTR’s team issued a statement that read, “We regret to inform everyone that Mr NTR sustained an unfortunate shoulder injury earlier this evening. Following a thorough medical evaluation, the team of doctors headed by Dr. J. Madhusudan Rao and Dr. R. A. Purnachandra Tejaswi has advised complete rest for six to eight weeks to ensure a smooth and complete recovery. We would like to assure everyone that there is absolutely no cause for panic. We will continue to share official updates regarding his health and recovery as and when appropriate. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.”
Following the injury, the actor underwent surgery on August 12 at KIMS Hospitals in Secunderabad. He is now expected to focus on his recovery and rehabilitation. According to some reports, he may take around two to three months to get back to normal, while medical experts have advised him to rest for six to eight weeks.
Meanwhile, a few days ago there wererumours that the actor was set to enter politics. However, his team soon put an end to all rumours with a statement.
