Jr NTR attends Don’t Trouble The Trouble event
Jr NTR got emotional while speaking at the Hyderabad pre-release event of Don’t Trouble The Trouble, recalling his long-standing bond with SS Karthikeya and the Rajamouli family.
The actor attended the event as the chief guest and spoke warmly about Fahadh Faasil, director Shashank Yeleti and, most importantly, Karthikeya, who is making his debut as a producer with the film.
While addressing the gathering, Jr NTR went back to November 2000, when his debut film Ninnu Choodalani was released.

He recalled attending the opening at Ramoji Film City without his parents and said the experience left him feeling alone at a crucial moment in his early career.
“My mother never stepped out. Dad was unwell, so they asked me to go alone for the opening of my film. That day I felt so lonely. But to compensate that, god has given me you all as fans and family,” he said.
He described the Rajamouli and Keeravani families as the family that life eventually gave him.
In another emotional moment, NTR shared a warm hug with S. S. Rajamouli’s wife and costume designer Rama Rajamouli.

‘Karthikeya Is Like My Younger Brother’
NTR then spoke about his relationship with SS Karthikeya, pointing out that Karthikeya was only around nine years old when Student No. 1 was made, while NTR was 17.
Over the years, their relationship grew into one that NTR described as being like brothers. He recalled how he had once wished for a younger brother and said Karthikeya eventually became that person in his life.
The actor became particularly emotional while recalling the difficult phases of his career.
He said, “Karthikeya stood beside me when some of his films did not work and when I was unsure about what to do next.” NTR also credited him for being an important presence during the making of Baahubali and RRR.
The actor also had warm words for Fahadh Faasil, who is making his Telugu lead debut with Don’t Trouble The Trouble.
NTR said he had been watching Fahadh’s work since Bangalore Days and considers him among the actors he particularly admires. He praised Fahadh’s ability to make audiences watch him purely for his acting and welcomed him into Telugu cinema.
A Special Moment for Shashank Yeleti
NTR also congratulated director Shashank Yeleti, whom he said he had known since childhood.
He recalled that Shashank had wanted to become a director for a long time and said it was special to see him finally achieve that goal.
NTR wished both Shashank and Karthikeya success with the film, asking audiences to extend the same affection and support to Karthikeya that they had shown him over the years.
Don’t Trouble The Trouble Releases on October 2
Presented by SS Rajamouli, Don’t Trouble The Trouble is directed by Shashank Yeleti and stars Fahadh Faasil in the lead role. The film also features child actor Sara and is produced by SS Karthikeya along with Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media Works and Showing Business.
The fantasy family entertainer is scheduled to release worldwide on October 2, 2026, in multiple languages.
