    Key Points

    • Jim Carrey recently married his girlfriend Min Ah in a private ceremony.

    • The couple has been spotted together as far back as 2022, but details of their relationship remain scarce.

    • Carrey has been married twice, shares one child with ex Melissa Womer, and has dated Linda Ronstadt, Renée Zellweger, January Jones, and Jenny McCarthy.

Congratulations are in order for Jim Carrey, who has married Min Ah.

The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind star, 64, and his girlfriend recently tied the knot, his rep confirmed to Entertainment Weekly. TMZ reports that they swapped vows in a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles.

EW has reached out to reps for Carrey.

He and Ah made their official debut as a couple on Feb. 26 at the César Awards in Paris, where he was also alongside his adult daughter, Jane, and her teenage son, Jackson.

When the Ace Ventura: Pet Detective star received an honorary award, he made sure to shout out Ah during the speech he gave in French, per PEOPLE.

“Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever,” the actor said through translation. “Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah,” he said in French, as his daughter, grandson, and girlfriend received ovations from the crowd. “I love you, Min Ah. And finally, thank you to the funniest man I have ever known: my father, Percy Joseph Carrey who taught me the value of love, generosity, and laughter.”

Carrey and Ah were first photographed together in 2022.

The actor has been married twice before. He and Melissa Womer, with whom he shares Jane, were married from 1987 to 1995. In 1996, Carrey married Dumb and Dumbercostar Lauren Holly, but they split the following year.

Carrey has also had relationships with famous women including Jenny McCarthy, Renée Zellweger, Linda Ronstadt, and January Jones.

The union with Ah was consummated despite Carrey’s insistence that he wouldn’t walk down the aisle again.

He said it in a March 2008 interview with Britain’s Weekend Magazine: “I’m happy with Jenny,” Carrey said of McCarthy. “Although I probably won’t get married again. If you’ve done it twice, you really should stop doing it.”

He confirmed his stance on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show in 2014.

“I just don’t see it as necessary, at this point,” Carrey said. “I can’t say that I know how I would feel if I meet somebody that knocks my head off. I mean, I can’t make hard, fast rules about the future. But I wouldn’t voluntarily go that way.”

Looks like his “sublime companion” changed his mind.
