Jada’s collectibles pack a punch — with even more fighting power on the way.
July 24, 2026
When you start a game of Street Fighter II, Capcom’s iconic ‘90s arcade game, one of the first things you do is choose a player. But thanks to Jada, you can have them all.
In the toy-making game since 1999, Jada was best-known for its collectible die-cast car replicas, but in recent years, it’s fighting its way to the top of the pack of action figure manufacturers. Now known for its 1:12-scale figures, Jada offers fans impressive articulation, intense attention to detail, and the possibility of completion. “We didn’t enter this category to participate,” says Brian Sun, senior marketing manager at Jada. “We entered it to set the standard.”

Jada first stepped into the action figure arena in 2023 with its Ultra Street Fighter collection, committing to the 1:12 scale with Ryu, Chun-Li, and Fei Long.
The figures feature more than 20 points of articulation with pinless double joints for detailed posing. They come complete with swappable heads, hands, and effect pieces, allowing fans to re-create signature in-game moves for their displays, like Ryu’s Hurricane Kick or Chun-Li’s powerful Kikoken projectile attack.

Since the initial launch, Jada released five total waves of Street Fighter II figures, featuring 19 characters and more than a dozen Player 2 variants. Up next, fans can preorder two new Wave 6 figures — T. Hawk and Zangief — during Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) through BigBadToyStore, Entertainment Earth, and GameStop.
At SDCC, fans can also snag the “You Lose” Accessory Set, which includes defeated heads for all 19 players in the roster. “The damaged heads came from listening to collectors,” Sun says. “Real fans want to tell a story with their figures; they want options. Adding that kind of detail is how you go from a collectible to something people actually engage with. It’s a small thing that says a lot about how we think about this community.”
Later this year, preorders will also open for Jada’s Street Fighter Alpha 3 collection, which kicks off with Ryu, Chun-Li, and Charlie Nash.
Another CapCom classic, Jada’s Mega Man action figures mirror the quirky robotic look of the video games. |
And the fun doesn’t stop at Street Fighter. Jada also has a full lineup of Mega Man action figures, another Capcom-published gaming franchise. Decidedly cuter than Street Fighter, the Mega Man line still packs in all of the swappable parts, details, and premium articulation of its predecessor. “Street Fighter gave us the credibility; Mega Man showed we could build deep lore into a figure line,” Sun explains.
Jada spent the last three years bringing nostalgic video game characters from the arcade to collectors’ shelves, and now, the company is punching its way into animated films and series. Last year at SDCC, Jada announced it would make 1:12-scale figures for an extremely popular comic-book-turned-animated-series: Invincible.
From creator Robert Kirkman, best known for The Walking Dead, Invincible ran for more than 15 years, with more than 140 total issues released. In 2021, an animated series based on the comics launched on Prime Video, and Amazon reported in a press release that the third season was Prime Video’s most-watched animation season of all time. From the comics to the series, fans love Invincible — but there’s shockingly little merch available, making Jada’s new action figure line highly anticipated.

Announced last year at SDCC, Wave 1 will feature Invincible, Conquest, and Kid Omni-Man, set to ship later this year. Plus, SDCC goers have the opportunity to snag the Invincible Battle Damaged Deluxe Exclusive 1:12-Scale Action Figure, which is inspired by the Season 3 finale, capturing Mark Grayson following his brutal showdown with Conquest. The figure arrives in SDCC-exclusive, premium collector packaging, and will also be available online for $40.
Jada brings quality to the 1:12-scale collectible marketplace. Fans can look forward to more premium — and affordable — figures across multiple pop-culture brands for years to come. And in the end, it’s all about fan service.
“When you look at the portfolio we’ve built across Street Fighter, Mega Man, and now Invincible, I think the collector community has responded because they can see that every line is built with the same commitment to quality,” Sun says. “We’re not licensing for volume. We’re licensing to do it right.”
