Good things come to those who wait. “Rivals” Season 2 will resume with six episodes and return to Hulu this fall.
The British comedy drama series, which is based on Dame Jilly Cooper’s best-selling “Rutshire Chronicles,” is loaded with secrets, betrayals and twists.
In the above trailer, the Rutshire residents worry, “Someone close to us can’t be trusted.” Dance parties, punches, fireworks and more thrills are teased in the second season.
To hold fans over, Hulu has released new photos to offer a first look at the rest of Season 2.

The show picks up after the gut-wrenching mid-series finale, Tony Baddingham and Declan O’Hara’s battle for the Cotswolds crown gets tense. Plus, Rupert Campbell-Black must face his own demons. Affairs, alliances and rivalries unfold with Bonfire Night, Hampshire Hunt Ball and Christmas backdrops. Will anyone get their happy ending after Season 2 concludes?

Returning cast members include David Tennant, Alex Hassell, Aidan Turner, Nafessa Williams, Bella Maclean, Katherine Parkinson, Danny Dyer, Victoria Smurfit, Claire Rushbrook, Oliver Chris, Emily Atack, Rufus Jones, Luca Pasqualino, Catriona Chandler, Annabel Scholey, Gary Lamont, Hubert Burton, Gabriel Tierney, Lara Peake and Bryony Hannah.
Previously announced new cast members set to join are Rachael Stirling, Rupert Evans and Santiago Cabrera. Guest stars Hayley Atwell and Rupert Everett are also slated to return.
Watch the final six episodes of “Rivals” Season 2 starting Nov. 11 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
