We’re just weeks away from the release of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV. Prepare for your return to Kronos with an epic, nine-minute trailer:

In the fourth installment of the legendary Warhammer 40,000 real-time strategy game series, you can take control of four factions – the Space Marines of the Blood Ravens and Dark Angels, Orks, Necrons, and Adeptus Mechanicus – across four campaigns comprising more than 70 thrilling missions.

In addition to the campaigns, there’s a Skirmish mode, with dozens of customisable settings, four game types, and support for up to five AI opponents, where you can hone your skills before taking the battle online across 30 multiplayer maps.

    The Last Stand

Fan-favourite co-op survival mode The Last Stand is back, where you and two allies must hold the line against relentless waves of enemies. Choose from five heroes and assemble your strike force of companion units, bringing new layers of strategic depth to every run.

Whichever mode you like to play, the enhanced Painter tool means you can make every army your own. Choose from dozens of presets or create your own schemes with choices of colours, decals, and wargear – for the first time, you have complete creative control to paint your units’ armour and equipment piece-by-piece.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV is due for release on 3 December 2026, but if you can’t wait until then, the Commander Edition gives players early access three days ahead of the main release. Pre-ordereither edition now to get a 10% discount, and prepare to begin the fight for Kronus anew.
