Washington claimed a 2-0 extra-innings victory over Phenix City on Wednesday, Aug. 19. However, the fun at Lamade Stadium isn’t over for Alabama, as the Little League World Series is double-elimination until the final game of each regional bracket and the title game.
Phenix City returns to the field on Saturday, Aug. 22, to face Sweetwater Valley Little League out of Bonita, California.
