Is Robin Wright done with the United States for good?
After the former House of Cardsstar, 60, said in a 2025 interview with The Sunday Times that she loves living in England, First for Women can confirm that she’s selling two properties in the States.
The actress is currently under contract, at a loss, for her apartment in lower Manhattan. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom downtown loft was listed for $1.495 million after being purchased in August 2012 for $100,000 more.
The 1,818-square-foot apartment is set on a cobblestone block in the heart of Manhattan’s South Street Seaport, according to a listing. The residence offers expansive open living with the flexibility to accommodate two sleeping areas, a home office and living and dining spaces.
A private elevator opens directly into the loft, where original wood-beamed ceilings, exposed brick walls, artisan millwork and wide-plank hardwood floors are on display.
The redesigned chef’s kitchen has Miele and Liebherr appliances, and the apartment also includes an A/C, washer/dryer, walk-in closet space and additional basement storage.

Wright also listed her four-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Santa Monica, California, for just under $5 million after purchasing the home in August 2009 for $2.75 million.
The 3,500-square-foot estate was finished with authentic vintage fixtures and offers an ocean view. In the private backyard, there is an in-ground hot tub and additional seating area with a fire pit.
The home features a custom kitchen, an open-floor plan, three fireplaces and parking for up to five cars.
Last year, Wright told the Times that she and her boyfriend, architect Henry Smith, planned to move to a rented home on the English seaside.
In Los Angeles, “Everyone’s building a huge house and I’m just done with all that,” she told the publication. “I love the quiet. And I’ve met my person. Finally.”
