hololive is officially getting a TV anime, with Studio KAI (Sentenced to Be a Hero) handling animation production. According to the company, the project has been in development for approximately five years. The franchise launched itsfirst game earlier this year.

The anime’s title and story have not yet been revealed. For now, the project is being teased with the abbree name could stand for. Many of the scenes were previously featured in the hololive Alternative videos, which were released in 2021 and 2022
A special information program is scheduled for September 23, where additional details about the anime will be revealed. Nene Momosuzu, Polka Omaru, Lamy Yukihana and Botan Shishiro will appear, with Fubuki Shirakami and Mio Ookami serving as MCs.
An official X account for the anime has also been opened under @odeholo.
Alongside the anime announcement, hololive revealed that a new unit will debut for the first time in approximately two years. The unit is named “ASOBI★Mawaritai!,” with more information to be announced through the official account.
