Heidi Klum Shares Glimpse of Grotesque 2026 Halloween Costume One Week Before Annual Bash

Heidi Klum is brewing what may be her spookiest Halloween costume yet.

A week before her annual star-studded bash, the supermodel shared the first look at her monstrous 2026 Halloween costume, teasing what’s sure to be a jaw-dropping transformation.

“What’s my costume?” Klum wrote on Instagram Oct. 24 alongside Halloween emojis. “One week to go….#HeidiHalloween.”

While the America’s Got Talent judge—mom to kids Leni, 22, with ex Flavio Briatore, as well as Henry, 21, Johan, 19, and Lou, 16, with ex Seal—didn’t reveal much, she shared a glimpse at her fa-boo-lous costume in what appeared to be a zoomed-in image of her look.

The photo showed colorful prosthetic pieces in various shapes, textures and colors molded together in a coral reef-like design, with several of the parts looking similar to human organs, such as a brain or intestines.

And since Klum is known to draw inspiration from everything from pop culture to body horror to nature—with past transformations ranging from Fiona from Shrekto a giant earthworm to Medusa—fans shared a wide variety of guesses in the comments section of her post.

Several users guessed her Halloween costume will be the creature from the 2024 horror film The Substance, Monstro Elisasue, while others suggested the Project Runway host will be dressing as the Clickers from the zombie apocalypse series The Last of Us.

Meanwhile, some fans noted they could see Klum strutting in an aquatic costume, such as the Great Barrier Reef or “something under water.”

Though the 53-year-old’s transformation won’t be fully revealed until she unveils her look on the red carpet of her Halloween party on Oct. 31, she hasconfirmed she’s leaning into horror this year. After all, Klum told People in an interview published Sept. 17 that her costume will be “very, very bloody.”

“That’s what Halloween is all about,” she added. “We go gory, and we go there.”

While the mom of four gives fans pumpkin to talk about with her costume every year, she took Halloween to a new level last year with her Medusa costume. Indeed, the horrifying green costume featured robotic snakes on her head and took 10 hours to make.

And to take the look over the edge, her husband Tom Kaulitz dressed as a warrior or man turned to stone.

“Everything is hand-painted,” Klum explained to E! News at last year’s bash. “About 15 people have been working on this, and I think they did a fantastic job.”

Until we see her mind-blowing transformation this year, read on for a look back at her most epic Halloween costumes…

2025Heidi Klum and her husband Tom Kaulitz opted for a Grecian vibe, with Klum dressing as Medusa while Kaulitz was one of the warriors she turned to stone.
“I’ve been thinking about Medusa for quite some time,” Klum told E! News at the party, “because I’ve seen over the years obviously many, many Medusas, and I thought, You know, one day I’m going to try my own…I really wanted to have snakes that were moving, a super-ugly, super-scary face, really ugly teeth, and to be like a really long rattlesnake.”

2024The couple channeled E.T. from the 1982 movie E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. “I loved being E.T. so much,” she shared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in August 2025. However, she admitted, “It was so heavy holding that head on my head because it goes from the back to the front. I thought my neck was going to snap off.”

2018The supermodel transformed into everyone’s favorite green princess, Fiona, from Shrek. An idea she’d been dreaming about for awhile, “I just never found a crazy enough person that wants to do Shrek with me,” she told People. Enter: husband Tom Kaulitz.

2017The America’s Got Talent judge had a hair-raising good time dressed up as the werewolf from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” music video. “I wanted to do the ‘Thriller’ dance,” she explained.

2009Little known fact about crows: a group of them is called a murder. Perhaps that’s why the model chose the bird for her haunting costume. Distressed to discover the step-and-repeat was black, “Now I work on the background, too,” she told People. “Since then, I do the step-and-repeat, the carpet, everything.”

2000While the model’s looks have become a lot more elaborate, for her very first party she was just Heidi (as in the character from Johanna Spyri’s German novels), choosing to dress up in a dirndl “but not a tradtional dirndl,” she told People. “And in those days I still did my hair and makeup by myself.”
