Veteran action director and actor Vicky Kaushal’s father, Sham Kaushal marked 46 years in the Hindi film industry on August 8, reflecting on his journey from Punjab to Mumbai in search of work. Sharing an emotional video on Instagram, he said, “I didn’t come from my village in Punjab to join the film industry. I came in search of a job.” He recalled friends helping him financially when he could not afford his union membership fee. Sham joined the Movie Stunt Artists’ Association on August 8, 1980.
