The big question
A tiny spark has turned into a full-blown fan theory. Fans spotted Deepika Padukone‘s name on the IMDb and Wikipedia cast listings of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War and, naturally, Reddit did the rest. While neither the makers nor Deepika’s team has confirmed her involvement in the Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal-starrer, fans are already busy connecting the dots.

The Reddit post went viral and sparked plenty of debate, with many pointing out that both websites can be edited by users. But why let facts get in the way of some good old speculation? Love & War follows two strong-willed army officers caught in a dramatic love triangle and is expected to hit theatres on January 21, 2027.

Never-ending struggle
Chhaya Kadam has been quietly building an impressive body of work for years, but the success of Laapataa Ladies (2024), Madgaon Express (2024), and All We Imagine as Light (2024) appears to have opened the door to a wider range of roles.
“From the beginning, when I did my first play, I wanted to do something different. When I used to watch Shabana Azmi and Smita Patel’s work, I used to think, âThis is such an amazing work’. I used to enjoy playing such characters, wherein they felt real or I’ve seen someone or met this person,” Kadam told PTI in an interview.
While “getting work and meeting people” was once a struggle, she now finds herself facing a rather enive offers. Maybe the struggle in the future will be something else.”
Taking a sharp U-turn
From calling Gen Z protesters “generation gutter” to hailing them as the country’s biggest strength, Kangana Ranaut has made quite the U-turn. Days after her controversial remark, the actor-politician praised the younger generation as ambassadors of India’s culture and identity.
Her change of tone came a day after RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said Gen Z’s demands should be heard and that they were not anti-national. Kangana echoed the sentiment outside Parliament, saying, “Gen Z is the strength of our country and, in a way, a great asset to our nation. We are very happy that our young people are increasingly emerging as ambassadors of our culture and its identity.”
