We wouldn’t blame Roblox Corporation (NYSE:RBLX) shareholders if they were a little worried about the fact that David Baszucki, the Founder recently netted about US$2.0m selling shares at an average price of US$37.96. However, it’s crucial to note that they remain very much invested in the stock and that sale only reduced their holding by 1.3%.

Roblox Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
The Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary, Mark Reinstra, made the biggest insider sale in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for US$3.8m worth of shares at a price of US$63.94 each. While we don’t usually like to see insider selling, it’s more concerning if the sales take place at a lower price. It’s of some comfort that this sale was conducted at a price well above the current share price, which is US$39.12. So it may not shed much light on insider confidence at current levels.

I like to see this level of insider ownership, because it increases the chances that management are thinking about the best interests of shareholders.
