Harrison Ford’s 84th Birthday Bike Ride Accidentally Became a Shirtless Thirst Trap

Harrison Ford turned 84 on Monday, July 13, but he was not spending his birthday weekend parked on a couch. The Indiana Jones legend was spotted powering through a solo bike ride in Los Angeles, looking fully prepared to outrun another rolling boulder if necessary
Fox News got a hold of some thirst-trap snaps of the octogenarian, who tackled the Southern California heat in a white athletic shirt, black cycling shorts, gloves, and a helmet. After finishing the ride, he stripped off his shirt to cool down beside his bike, and proved that even grandpas can thirst-trap with the best of us—even if only accidentally
The results come from a routine designed for longevity. Ford cycles, plays tennis, and trains with Jaime Milnes, focusing on full-body conditioning and core strength. “I believe in training for injury prevention more than anything else,” he said. “I’m an old fart, and I need to protect myself.”
His diet received an overhaul, too. Ford has eliminated most meat and dairy, opting for vegetables and fish. “I just decided I was tired of eating meat,” he explained. “And I know it’s not really good for the planet, and it’s not really good for me.”
The combination has kept him ready for physically demanding roles in Shrinking and Taylor Sheridan’s 1923 well into his 80s
Of course, Ford’s status as a late-blooming heartthrob is hardly new. People crowned him Sexiest Man Alive in 1998, when he was 56. At the time, his response was predictably dry: “Why this sudden outpouring for geezers?”
He later added, “I never feel sexy. I have a distant relationship with the mirror.”
That attitude tracks with an actor who became a superstar almost by accident. Ford was working as a carpenter when George Lucas brought him in to read lines during Star Wars auditions. He walked away with the iconic role of Han Solo, improvised the character’s immortal “I know” in The Empire Strikes Back and spent years pushing for Solo to receive a meaningful death
Ford finally got his wish in The Force Awakens, but he has no plans to write himself out of Hollywood. Asked whether he intended to retire, Ford answered, “No,” pointing out that movies still need older actors for older roles
