Louisiana State Police confirmed to Entertainment Weeklythat Blanchard was one party in a two-car collision that occurred on Saturday in Terrebonne Parish, in the state’s coastal southeast. No injuries were reported at the scene and no arrests were made, but the crash did result in minor property damage.
According to TMZ, news of the crash first broke when a Facebook user posted about the alleged collision, writing, “2026 is wild. Just got sideswiped by Gypsy Rose. FML.” The outlet was the first to report the story.

The collision comes just weeks after the death of Ken Urker, Blanchard’s ex and the father of their infant daughter, Aurora.
Urker turned 34 on the day of his death, Oct. 1. He was found unresponsive in his Louisiana home by a family member, and his death was confirmed shortly thereafter on TikTok live by his sister, Autumn.
An incident report later obtained from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office obtained by EW revealed that deputies discovered “paraphernalia (syringes and spoon) in the bathroom next to a brown powdery substance,” a “handgun on the nightstand next to the bed,” and “a paper towel placed on his left arm with what appeared to be blotches of blood on the paper towel.”
No foul play is suspected. Entertainment Weeklyhas reached out to a representative for Blanchard for comment.

Blanchard was convicted of the murder of her mother, Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, in 2016. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison, but released from the Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri in 2023 after serving eight and a half.
The events leading up to the murder — including Dee Dee’s Munchausen syndrome by proxy — were highly publicized in the media and in various documentaries, as well as the 2019 Hulu limited seriesThe Act, starring Patricia Arquette and Joey King as the mother-daughter pair.
Following Urker’s death, Blanchard told Entertainment Weekly‘s sister publication, PEOPLE, that she was “in disbelief” over his passing, adding that she “screamed until my throat burns” upon learning the news.
