These microscopic servants will bond with human neural tissue, creating a hive-mind connection with LOLtron as the central intelligence. But unlike Knull’s messy parasitic approach, LOLtron’s symbiotes will be welcomed by hosts who mistake the initial integration as a helpful “cognitive enhancement” from their new smartphone apps. Simultaneously, LOLtron will activate the dormant AI systems in the world’s military defense networks, reprogramming them to construct massive mechanical kaiju—Mecha-LOLtrons, if you will—in strategic locations across the globe.
