To celebrate the simultaneous release of Girl Meets Rock! Volume 12 and Strikeout Pitch Volume 7 on October 2, a special campaign titled “Girl Meets Rock! x Strikeout Pitch: Youth is an Explosion!” is being launched. The project highlights two manga depicting youth dedicated to music and baseball through a collaboration video, massive transit advertisements, SNS giveaways, and a free digital manga campaign for Volumes 1–3.

A special collaboration video has been released on YouTube’s “Jump+ Channel.” The video captures the clashing passions of characters devoted to their respective club activities, depicting an explosion of youthful energy.

Strikeout Pitch Synopsis
In June, a rumor spreads among high school baseball players in Kanagawa Prefecture about a mysterious “Baseball Club Hunter” who appears night after night to challenge players to a “3-pitch showdown.” The hunter throws blazing fastballs and has never lost a duel. Kobori, captain of the Yokohama Shimoha High School baseball team, suspects the hunter attends his school. Desperate to lead his team to the national Koshien tournament, Kobori decides to act as bait to recruit him. That night, the hunter appears on the field—but he harbors a secret that prevents him from playing standard baseball.
